USCIS Releases H-1B Cap Registration Update

USCIS has released the FY 2023 H-1B Cap Registration Process registration data.

For FY 2023, USCIS received 483,927 H-1B registrations and has initially selected 127,600 registrations. Selection totals take into account historical data, including the rates of non-filing for selected registrants.

Registration in FY2023 increased 56.8% over FY 2022, when USCIS received 308,613 H-1B registrations. For FY 2022, USCIS originally selected 87,500 registrations but later conducted a second selection in July 2021 and a third selection in November 2021, for a total of 131,970 registrations.

Selected registrants have at least 90 days to file their H-1B cap-subject petitions beginning from April 1, 2022.
