USCIS and the Justice Department have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to facilitate cooperation, training, and data-sharing in the investigation of employment-based visa programs. These investigations are conducted to reduce fraud and ensure employers are not discriminating against US workers. The MOU marks a further expansion on the existing agreement between the two agencies that was established in 2010.
