Ukrainian Men Can Apply for Passport Outside of Ukraine

Ukrainian men are again allowed to apply for passports at DP “Document” centres outside of Ukraine. In order to apply for the passport an individual must confirm that they have up-to-date military data documents. In Poland DP “Document” centres operate in Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclawand Gdansk.

Updating military documents outside of Ukraine is possible via Reserve+ mobile app. The procedure is very straightforward:

  • User needs to log in to Reserve+, and
  • Enter the necessary data (surname and name, date of birth, registration number of the taxpayer’s account card, passport number, address, etc.),
  • Data is transferred to the Unified State Register of Persons Liable for Military Service,
  • User automatically receives confirmation from the Register once data is updated.

Ukrainian nationals has a right to legally stay and work in Poland at least until September 30, 2025, without taking any actions. This is regardless of having valid passport. However, lack of valid passport limits traveloptions.
