The UK Home Office has issued support services to help individuals returning to their home country, if:
- they have no legal right to remain in the UK
- they either choose to return home (voluntary return) or are being returned
The UK Home Office’s services are available for up to 12 months after return. Reintegration services are also available even if an individual already received help from the Voluntary Returns Service (VRS) or the Facilitated Returns Scheme (FRS).
The UK Home Office reintegration services can support airport transfers and accommodation, transportation, and a small stipend; further, it can help with obtaining documentation, finding and rejoining with family, local services, including health services, and finding a job or further education or vocational training.
Reintegration services are currently available in these countries: Albania, Bangladesh, China, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Iraq and KRI, Jamaica, Nigeria, Pakistan, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.
