UAE Exempts Sudanese Nationals from Immigration Fines

The UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has announced that it has decided to exempt citizens of Sudan from fines related to residence permits and entry permits effective May 19, 2025.

The exemption period will continue until the end of 2025. Sudanese nationals who have incurred fines can rectify their status and submit renewal applications through the Authority’s official digital channels without paying the fines.
