The UAE Announces New Visa Overstay Fines

The UAE government, Digital Government and the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (UAEICP), announced new fines for visa overstays for expired residence and visit visas.

A fixed fine of AED50 will be applied each day following the visa’s expiration date.

Individuals can access additional information on the UAEICP website and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai’s (GDRFA) website.
