In this first episode of 2022, the Immigration Nerds welcome Bilal Zouheir, a film curator and founder of agoodmovietowatch.com, a film recommendation website trusted by 6 million visitors each year, and uprootedmovies.com, the Internet’s first immigrant cinema website.
Bilal shares with us his immigration story. He grew up an American-film-obsessed kid in Morocco and then went to France for business school where he earned his MBA, and now lives in Berlin, where he runs these two sites and is immersed in the world of film. Bilal loves nothing more than to recommend underappreciated immigrant stories.
