On April 25, 2018, the US Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the challenge to the latest iteration of President Trump’s travel ban. Last December, the Court allowed part of the third version of the travel ban to go into effect while litigation is pending, without addressing the legal merits of the ban. This will be the first time the Supreme Court will rule on the legality of any major Trump immigration policy. The Court will likely issue its decision in June.
