The Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass is a personalized pass tied to the individual and gives the holder greater employment flexibility:
- ONE Pass holders can concurrently start, operate, and work for multiple companies at any one time.
- ONE Pass holders can change employers without prior authorization.
- The ONE Pass is valid for 5 years.
What is the Qualifying Salary? ONE Pass Holders must earn at least SGD30,000 fixed monthly salary within the past year or will do so under a future employer in Singapore. The fixed monthly salary of at least SGD30,000 should come from one employer. Other sources of income may be considered on a case-by-case basis
What are the Eligibility Criteria?
- Individuals with outstanding achievements in arts, sports, science, and academia can qualify even if they may not meet the salary criterion.
- Individuals who have demonstrated a high level of achievement in scientific research or other academic research, with a proven record of impactful outcomes from research conducted
- Overseas Candidates must have been working for an established company overseas for at least 1 year OR show that they will be working for an established company* in Singapore.
- Existing Pass holders must have been working in Singapore for at least 1 year OR show that they will be working for an established company* in Singapore.
What is the Processing Time? Candidates who meet the eligibility can apply directly. The employer can also apply on behalf of the candidates. Most applications will be processed within 4 weeks. Applications under “Outstanding achievements” may take longer if further assessment is required by the relevant agencies.
As this is a new pass, applicants should expect that the process may take longer in the beginning.
Is the ONE Pass Renewable? Yes, for 5 years. To be eligible for renewal, the pass holder must earn a fixed monthly salary of at least SGD30,000 on average over the past 5 years in Singapore OR have started and is operating a Singapore-based company that employs at least 5 locals, each earning at least SGD5,000 (pegged to the EP minimum qualifying salary).
Are Dependents Eligible? Yes. Eligible to bring dependents and spouses can work on Letter of Consent.
