A new Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) will open in Lavender on April 7, 2025. The existing ICA building will be permanently closed from April 1, 2025.
What to Expect
- Walk-in customers will not be served at the counters between April 1 and April 4.
- Those with urgent requests would be assessed and served on a case-by-case basis. Individuals would need to provide supporting documents.
- Urgent requests include passports for urgent travel, oath-taking for those turning 22 years old between April 1 and April 6, and the completion of formalities for immigration passes expiring during the same period.
The authority encouraged the public to get their ICA transactions done before the transition period. During the transition period, the public can continue to submit their applications online through ICA’s website or the MyICA mobile application.
