There is a new option available for Belarusian nationals who for any reason cannot travel to Belarus or face difficulties in getting a new passport at the foreign post. Such persons can remain in Poland regardless of their passport expiration or its loss.
Belarusian nationals are eligible to apply for a Polish travel document for a foreigner in case of loss, destruction or expiry of their national travel document or if they have never had such document at all, if they hold a permanent residence permit, a long-term EU residence permit, a residence permit for humanitarian reasons, subsidiary protection or a temporary residence permit. Application is free of charge.
On August 13, 2024, a new relevant application form will be introduced and the deadline for the application submission is December 31, 2024.
