On October 14, 2026, the Ministry of Interior announced that qualified foreign national heads of households can now arrange entry visas for their family members while their own work visa and residency applications are being processed.
Previously, family visas could only be processed once the main applicant’s residency was finalized.
Eligible dependents include spouses, sons under the age of 25, and unmarried daughters. They may obtain entry visas concurrently with completion of the head of household’s work visa. Their residency procedures will be finalized after arrival in Saudi Arabia, in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
