The Qatari government announced new guidance for foreign nationals who have violated their legal status. According to the announcement, individuals who have violated provisions of Law No. 21 of 2015 have from October 10, 2021, to December 31, 2021, to correct their legal status.
This grace period applies to expatriates who:
- Violate the residency rules
- Violate the work visa rules
- Violate the family visit rules
