Portugal is now open to tourism for travelers from the EU, Great Britain, and the United States. From June 15, US travelers will follow the same measures as UK travelers.
All travelers above two years of age must show negative COVID-19 test results taken within 72 hours of departure.
Portugal will also welcome travelers from Australia, China, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand provided their governments adopt equivalent reciprocal measures.
The ban on non-essential travel applies to all non-EU and non-Schengen zone countries not listed by the government as an exception. Travelers from Nepal, India, Brazil, and South Africa must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
