On April 2, 2024, a draft regulation amending Poland’s consular fees was submitted. The draft increases the fee for issuing a Polish national visa from EUR 80 to EUR 135. Additionally, a new visa service will be added to the table of consular fees in the amount of EUR 135 for reconsideration of an application for Polish national “D” visa.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the increase would be to accomodate the costs of maintaining the quality of the visa process, preventing the use of visas as tool for illegal immigration, and due to the increasing costs of consular administation.
