Philippines Moves Alien Employment Permit Applications Fully Online

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has announced that, effective September 3, 2026, through the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE), all Alien Employment Permit (AEP) applications must be submitted through the official online portal.

This includes all new, renewal, exemption, and exclusion applications. AEP applications submitted by email, hard copy, or walk-in submission are no longer accepted. Only applications with a duly completed application form and complete documentary requirements will be accepted and processed.

Applications for cancellation, reprinting, or accreditation only must be submitted by email to aep_applications@ble.dole.gov.ph.

DOLE Certification for Special Visa for Employment Generation (SVEG) applications and No Objection Certificates for the 5% increase in foreign employment under the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) will be facilitated and issued by the concerned DOLE Regional Offices.

In line with a new zero-contact policy, all questions, status updates, or general clarifications regarding AEP must be sent directly to aep@ble.dole.gov.ph. Only clients with a confirmed schedule for card release or an official notice to submit additional documents for further evaluation will be granted entry to the office premises.
