Foreign workers holding a residence permit in Kazakhstan who have made mandatory pension contributions (OPV) to the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (ENPF) may be eligible for a refund of their accumulated funds upon leaving the country.
Who Can Apply for a Refund?
- Foreign nationals with a residence permit planning to relocate to another country
- Kazakhstani citizens applying for foreign citizenship
- Former compatriots who have officially completed their permanent departure from Kazakhstan
The refund is only possible after officially processing the departure from Kazakhstan and ensuring there are no outstanding obligations with the tax authorities.
