Panama’s National Immigration Service has further extended the deadline for submitting extensions for expired residence permits.
Resolution No. 46625 of October 10, 2024, published in the Official Gazette on October 24, 2024, extends until December 31, 2024 the deadline to submit residence permits that expired on or after March 13, 2020.
The deadline applies to the submission of extension requests for expired Temporary Residence Permits, Provisional Residence Permits, Permanent Residence Permits and Domestic Workers’ Visas.
After December 31, 2024, Resolution No. 15,703 of August 24, 2012 will remain in effect, granting a six-month period to submit extensions for residence permits and visas.
