From September, Oman will grant long-term residence visas to foreign investors. The Investment Residency Programme (IRP) will offer renewable 5- or 10-year residency visas to foreign investors.
The IRP aims to attract foreign investors, ultimately leading to job generation and economic growth for Oman.
Currently, the eligibility criteria for the IRP have not been formally outlined, though it is expected to encourage investments in tourism, education, information technology, logistics, green economies, as well as mining and agriculture.
