From April 1, 2023, individuals whose asylum or residence applications are rejected by Norwegian authorities will receive an earlier notice of deportation.
Under the current guidelines, foreign nationals in Norway are given a departure deadline if their asylum or residence application is rejected. Individuals who miss the deadline are then put on a list for deportation.
