Starting September 14, 2018, Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower will check work pass applicants’ residential addresses when issuing passes. The approval of work passes by the Ministry of Manpower will depend on the satisfaction of housing requirements by the applicant. Certain requirements have been determined for various types of housing.
