Two Minnesota school districts and an education workers union filed a lawsuit challenging a DHS policy that allows federal agents to conduct immigration enforcement operations at schools and bus stops.
- The lawsuit alleges that the policy change during the Trump administration violates the Administrative Procedure Act and has led to an increase in enforcement actions at and near schools and daycares.
- The plaintiffs also claim that the actions have disrupted the school’s normal operations and have required them to divert resources.
