Malaysia Online Appeal Facility Now Available Through ESD Online System

The Expatriate Services Division (ESD) of the Immigration Department of Malaysia has announced that, effective May 2, 2025, appeal submissions for rejected Employment Pass (EP) and Professional Visit Pass-Expert (PVP) applications can now be made directly through the Expatriate Services Division (ESD) online system.

The “Appeal” button will be enabled once an application has been officially rejected in the system.

Users are asked to take note of the following important details:

  • Appeals must be submitted within six months from the date of rejection;
  • No refund will be issued once an appeal has been submitted;
  • Manual submissions via email or at MYXpats Centre will no longer be accepted effective May 1, 2025. All appeals must be submitted through the ESD online system.
