Lithuania | State of Emergency Extended Along the Border

The government of Lithuania has extended the state of emergency across its entire border with Belarus and the Kaliningrad region of Russia until December 16, 2022.

Government authorities stated that the security measures would counter potential threats as the war in Ukraine continues.

Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia have applied stricter permissions for Russian nationals who attempt to enter with a Schengen visa.
