Japan | COE Validity Extended

Japan’s Immigration Services Agency has extended the validity of the certificate of eligibility (COE) required for immigration clearance.

BEFORE AFTER
  • COE issued January 1, 2020 — January 31, 2022
    • Valid until July 31, 2022
  • COE issued February 1, 2022 — July 31, 2022
    • Valid for 6 months from the date of issue
  • COE issued January 1, 2020 – April 30, 2022
    • Valid until October 31, 2022
  • COE issued May 1, 2022 – July 31, 2022
    • Valid for 6 months from the date of issue

COEs issued on or after August 1, 2022, will be valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
