Ireland’s Department of Enterprise, Trade, and Employment (DETE) is reviewing potential increases to salary thresholds for several employment permit categories, effective January 2025.
Below is a table of the current and proposed salary thresholds most relevant to Irish entities:

Please note that salary thresholds are per annum and based on a standard 39-hour working week. If a contract of employment requires a longer working week, the annual salary must be adjusted accordingly to meet the minimum threshold.
