Ireland Extends Resident Permit Process in Pilot

The Irish Immigration Service is extending the Dublin Irish Residence Permit process for 1st time and renewal registrations for those residents in County Kildare.

From April 8, those resident in Kildare will follow the same process and criteria as County Dublin.

  1. Those resident in County Dublin & Kildare will be able to attend the main Immigration office, Burgh Quay in Dublin for 1st time registrations.
  2. Those resident in County Kildare will also be able to renew their Irish Residence Permits online and will not be required to attend the immigration office in person.

This is a pilot project initially for Kildare only.
