Effective March 26, 2018, Ireland’s Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation announced several modifications to its Employment Permit system. For example, positions such as Art Directors, Designers, and other animation-related professions have been added to the list of “Highly Skilled Occupations in Short Supply.” Additionally, several chef-related positions that have been identified as “General Skills in Short Supply,” are now available as well.
