Effective immediately, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs ( MEA) has announced that all Indian nationals traveling to 18 notified countries for employment purposes must register with the MEA’s eMigrate portal at least 24 hours prior to the anticipated departure date. Starting January 1, 2019, any Indian national traveling to a notified country for employment purposes without prior registration will be refused travel privileges at the airport.
