Inadmissible Alien List Expanded

The Trump administration recently introduced a proposal to further define a long-standing federal law intended to ensure that immigrants and nonimmigrants are able to financially support themselves in the United States. Those who have ever availed of certain public benefits, such as Medicaid, public housing, or food stamps, are likely to be negatively affected by this proposal, the enactment of which would render them inadmissible if they are deemed a risk of becoming a public charge.
