USCIS recently re-announced its efforts for timely processing of H-1B petitions. The Service affirms that some H-1B petitions originally submitted to the California Service Center will be transferred to the Nebraska Service Center for processing. If a case is transferred, USCIS will issue a Transfer Notice. The purpose of this transfer is to balance the caseload between Service Centers which should result in more timely processing.
