Effective December 15, 2025, the Global Entry program is now available to all eligible Australian citizens.
Global Entry is a US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that allows faster immigration and customs clearance for eligible Australians who have been pre-approved when entering the United States.
Phase One of Global Entry was opened to the first 1000 eligible applicants from 17 January to March 21, 2025. As of December 15, 2025, it is now open to an uncapped number of eligible Australian citizens.
AusCheck will email those who submitted an application for Global Entry before December 15, 2025, but have not yet received an outcome, with guidance about how to progress their application.
In addition to the application fee charged by the CBP, there is now a fee for the Australian component of the background checks.
