Germany | All COVID-Related Travel Requirements Lifted

As of June 11, Germany has lifted all COVID-19-related measures and requirements. As a result, travelers can enter Germany without restrictions regardless of nationality or country of origin.

The German Federal Foreign Office announced the travel policy change and that travel would be permitted for all purposes. However, due to a lack of reciprocity, travelers from the People’s Republic of China must provide a valid essential reason for their trip.

What to Expect
  • Travelers can visit Germany without proof of vaccination or recovery or a test certificate.
  • Travelers can visit Germany for any reason.
