From August 1, France’s minimum wage will be €11.06, and the minimum monthly salary will be €1,329.06, an increase of 2.01%. The French government’s statement said that the increase was due to inflation.
The European Union Parliament, in discussions about new and increased minimum wages, has said that new wage rules will help reduce the current gender pay gap.
