International Updates
Austria | The borders with the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia will reopen on June 15. As previously reported, the Austrian government has also coordinated the border reopening with Germany, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein.
The border and travel with Italy remain closed.

Hungary | After two weeks of lifting the lockdown in the rest of the country, beginning Monday, the government will gradually like the lockdown restrictions in Budapest.

India | The government has extended the nationwide lockdown to May 31.

Ireland | All travelers arriving in Ireland will have to quarantine for 14-days Travelers from Northern Ireland will be exempt.

Italy | Beginning Monday, Italians will be able to move freely within the region they live in. Beginning June 3, Italians will be able to travel between regions, and travelers into Italy from other European countries will be permitted without a quarantine period.

Qatar | Masks are mandatory in public, and failure to comply may result in three years in jail or fines as much as $55,000.

Sudan | All airports will remain closed until May 31 for flights except for evacuating foreigners and humanitarian aid, essential goods and services.

Thailand | The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand has extended the suspension of all incoming flights until June 30 at 11:59 AM. International flights will be permitted only if they are state or military, making an emergency landing, landing without disembarking, humanitarian aid or relief flights, repatriation, or cargo flights. Passengers on these flights are subject to 14-days of quarantine.

The United States | The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has extended the policy to defer the physical presence requirements associated with the Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) for an additional 30 days. Employers who were served notices of inspection (NOIs) by ICE during March 2020 and had not already responded were granted an automatic extension for 60 days from the effective date. ICE will allow an additional extension of 30 days to these employers.
This provision only applies to employers and workplaces that are operating remotely.

Zimbabwe | The government has extended the lockdown indefinitely. The restrictions will be reviewed every two weeks.
