Australia | Prime Minister Scott Morrison has asked state and territory leaders to reopen internal borders to reopen and energize Australia’s economy.

Canada | Beginning July 2, face masks will be mandatory in Toronto on public transportation systems.

Egypt | Beginning July 1, international charter flights will resume to tourist destinations less affected by the coronavirus, including Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Marsa Matrouh, and Sharm el-sheik.
The Cairo airport remains closed to international commercial flights, and public parks and beaches are closed until the end of June.

European Union | Leaders set out plans to fully open the EU’s internal borders on June 15 and to allow travelers from Balkan countries beginning July 1.
Japan | In local media, it was reported that Japan might allow business travel to and from Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, and Thailand to resume. The report suggests up to 250 business travelers per day would be allowed into Japan. They would have to show documentation that they are not infected and go through a test upon arrival.

The Maldives | Beginning June 15, as part of a phased reopening of the country following a two-month lockdown, residents in the capital, Male, will be allowed to leave their homes without a permit. Domestic airports and restaurants will also reopen.

Norway | The government is opening its borders to Denmark and will provide revised travel advice for other countries by June 15.
