Ecuador Removes Yellow Fever Entry Requirement

The Ministry of Tourism has advised travelers from Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia and Peru that the mandatory presentation of a vaccination certificate against yellow fever for entry into Ecuador has been removed.

The requirement took effect on May 12, 2025.

This measure is replaced by a vaccination recommendation, without a requirement to present a prior certificate when boarding the means of transport that carries the traveler to Ecuador by air, land or sea.
