Ecuador’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility announced the launch of its new “eVISAS” electronic visa system. According to a statement released on July 5, 2024, travelers to Ecuador for tourism, investment, or family reunification can utilize the eVISA system for an easier process.

- Applicants must upload an ID photo, a passport copy valid for at least 6 months, a criminal record, proof of means of subsistence, a travel itinerary, and their round-trip ticket.
The eVISA is $50 USD, payable online by credit card, for a 90-day tourist visa.
