The Dubai General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) has launched “Salama,” an AI-powered digital platform that can renew residency visas in minutes.
The Salama system will recognize the user’s details and allows the user to select the duration of their visa renewal. The system will confirm the renewal and process the request. Users can download from the platform their updated residency visa.
The DGRFA has indicated that future phases of the Salama platform would include visa services for visitors, tourists, and business visa renewals.
