Revised Form I-539 to be Published by USCIS

USCIS announced its plans to publish a revised version of Form I-539 on March 11, 2019. As of this date, USCIS will no longer accept any earlier version of Form I-539. There are notable changes to Form I-539 requirements, primarily affecting co-applicants. As part of USCIS’s revision, beginning March 11, 2019, co-applicants will be required to submit a supplemental Form I-539A concurrently with the principal applicant’s Form I-539. Additionally, most applicants, with the exception of some A, G, and NATO nonimmigrants, will be subject to an additional $85.00 biometric services fee and will be required to attend a biometric interview regardless of age.  We will update you with more information once the new forms and corresponding instructions are made available for review.
