In coming weeks India is expected to announce changes to improve the e-visa program, making it even more attractive to business visitors. Changes are expected to include:
- Stays of up to 180 days for e-Business visa holders (an increase from the current 60-day limit);
- Multiple entries (an increase from the current two-visit limit).
There are not expected to be any changes to the list of eligible countries which already includes the US, Canada, China, and many other countries across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. The changes are expected to be implemented in the coming weeks.
