The government of Cuba will replace the tourist card with a new electronic visa issuance system. The tourist card has allowed travelers to stay on the island for up to 90 days with the option to extend for an additional 90 days.
On July 10, the government released the official e-Visa application portal, evisacuba.cu.
Key Information about the eVisa Process
- The e-Visa is only available through the Cuban consulates in France, Italy, Japan, and Spain.
- Applicants for the Cuban e-Visa must provide a valid passport and email address.
- The e-Visa costs €22.00.
The electronic tourist visa is valid for one year for a single entry to Cuba.
