On May 14, 2025, the government of China announced that the mutual visa exemption agreement with Uzbekistan will take effect on June 1, 2025.
What to Expect:
- Chinese and Uzbek nationals are exempt from visa requirements when entering, exiting or transiting the other country for a single stay of up to 30 days and a cumulative stay of no more than 90 days within 180 days.
- Travelers intending to stay for more than 30 days at a time or for residence for the purposes such as work, study and journalism must obtain the appropriate visa before entry.
