On August 14, 2026, the National Migration Service announced the implementation of the new digital work authorisation tool, enabling employers to check the immigration and work authorisation status of foreign national job workers.
To use the system, which is completely free, a foreign national must access the National Migration Service’s Digital Procedures Portal and select the “Work Authorization Inquiry” option. A validation process will then be performed, and if successful, the authorization to work will be confirmed. Finally, the system will issue the work authorization certificate, which will include a QR code so that the employer can quickly and securely verify the status of the ruling.
