Canada Opens International Experience Canada (IEC) for 2026 Season

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced that the pools for the 2026 season of the International Experience Canada (IEC) program are open.

Those who are eligible can create a profile and wait for an invitation to apply. Those interested can check the rounds of invitations to find out when the first round will take place for their country or territory.

International Experience Canada (IEC) gives international youth the opportunity to travel and work in Canada for up to two years. Canadians aged 18 to 35 can also participate in the program.

There are 3 different kinds of work and travel experiences available: Working Holiday, Young Professionals and International Co-op (Internship)

Citizens of a partner country may be able to apply to one or more of these three categories.
