Brazil | To Suspend Visa-Free Entry for US, Canada, Australia, Japan

According to sources, Brazil will resume entry visa requirements for US, Canadian, Australian, and Japanese citizens. Requiring visas suspends a unilateral policy implemented in 2019 to facilitate tourism. Brazilian citizens need visas to travel to the four countries.

The visa requirement change was first reported in Reuters, noting that the Brazilian Foreign Ministry would notify the affected country’s governments and then share the details publicly.
