The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that, effective September 1, 2026, the issuance of temporary visas for entry into Brazil for nationals exempt from visit visas will be handled electronically.
Applications must be created through the integrated consular system (SCI), with the relevant documents uploaded. There is no need to deliver physical documentation or applicants’ passports. Once authorized, the visa will be automatically sent to the email address provided on the SCI form.
