On November 24, 2025, the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) introduced the Australian Immi App in 19 additional countries, bringing the total to 34 supported countries.

Algeria, Bahrain, Colombia, Egypt, Fiji, France, Greece, Hong Kong (SAR), Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand (third-country nationals), Oman, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, Tonga, Türkiye, Tuvalu, United Arab Emirates, Vanuatu.
Background
The Australian Immi App enables eligible applicants to submit facial biometrics and passport details directly from their smartphones – eliminating the need for in-person visits to biometric collection centers (ABCC).
What’s Next?
A final expansion to all remaining countries in Australia’s biometric collection program is scheduled for early 2026, furthering the government’s commitment to making visa applications faster, simpler, and more accessible.
