The following fees apply to the 2026–27 program:

The Registration of Interest fee is charged once per program year. Applicants who withdraw and submit a new Registration of Interest within the same program year will not be charged again.
Further information about fees and payment terms is available on the Fees page.
How Registrations of Interest are selected for invitation to apply for nomination
More detailed information has been published on the Live in Melbourne website about how Registrations of Interest are selected for invitation to apply for Victorian nomination.
This includes:
- the weighting of the selection factors in the Victorian Points Test;
- priority industries and any additional industry factors considered when selecting applicants for nomination invitation.
Existing Registrations of Interest
Applicants who submitted a Registration of Interest in a previous program year and wish to be considered for nomination in 2026–27 must log in to the Live in Melbourne portal and submit a new Registration of Interest when the program opens. The opening date will be announced on the Live in Melbourne site.
