The Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) announced delays in processing times for some streams of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program due to a high number of Labour Market Impact Assessment applications (LMIA). The ESDC recommends the following to reduce further delay: (1) ensure the application is fully completed; and (2) promptly respond to ESDC request for information.
